Here is new beta firmware for CarDongle.
There is added reset feature for those who would like to reset your units.
Many people requested this feature so we added it:
(link coming soon)
If you don't know how to flash very well,, or, would like to wait for CarDongle or other users to confirm the firmware is okay, please wait to download and install.
Thanks!
Can the new firmware install via OTA ?
Is better for same people !!!
@Tommy: Thank you for the new beta firmware. I'm eagerly waiting for my test sample to arrive (bloody customs and bloody forwarders, bad "service" from both of them). I hope I'm able to send some feedback before the end of the year...
@Taskom, OTA not yet. This is beta software for testing and clarifying bugs (if any). Nobody wants you to complain if this is installed without your consent. For the time being you have to flash by yourself 😉
Bye for now Fred

i try the step from youtube video and the flashing do not start !!!
Any help?
i have windows 10 64bit.
Most common problem: Order of actions.
- disconnect dongle
- start SP Flashtool
- select scatter MT6765_Android_scatter.txt
- select download
- start download process
- now connect dongle and wait
If this doesn't work check your drivers, start SP Flashtool as administrator and try until it works.
Bye for now Fred
@Tommy - just updated the v1 device I have, and I must say, I like the new look of the launcher.
However, I think you forgot to change the name of the device...
I got this screen when I clicked on the Google Play Store without having it connected to WiFi.
Jerwam, is scrolling is possible there should be no problem. The login screen is designed for Portrait and not Landscape...
Bye for now Fred
PS: If you have an external keyboard at hand it should work
There is no scroll, and as these are built for car stereos, the default is landscape. I tried to see if I could get Mirroid to flip to portrait, but it looks like that is blocked now. I also tried hitting the enter key to see if that'd do it, but nothing. It just sits in the password box, no way to move it further.
Does the touch screen respond?
Bye for now Fred
Ah, it works on my Surface when setting Mirroid to use the Google keyboard. The enter key on my external keyboard via the mirroid keyboard didn't like it.
I do have to back my comment on the Launcher, there isn't an app drawer by default any more... like why?
The phone button is a direct button to those settings, and the one to the right of it might have been the app drawer, but it goes nowhere. Please bring that back.
I know we can install a different launcher, but with yours, always include an app drawer.
