Thanks for releasing a version that won't brick future devices.
However, what option does the rest of us have that already tried updating as per your instructions before and now have a useless device?

You recommended people to wait.
That would give the assumption that there's minor bugs here and there, not that it will BRICK the system.

Why release a firmware if there's a possibility it will cause an unknown number of user's devices to be rendered useless?
The responsible thing would of been to just pull the old firmware and force people to wait until you release a new one.

Please don't try to turn this around and blame us for this.

Is there any difference between this version and the OTA version that was already released? Looking at the version numbers, they both appear to be 2.1.45 - so I assume this isn't a version that "might" help the GPS issues?

GPS mirroring feature firmware will be ready around March 20.

That link does look helpful, but again, slightly different situation.
That tool does not even detect the CD. With phones, you can still attempt to put it in recovery mode, we have no buttons with this dongle.
Also, I don't want to try that out yet without now if Tommy actually tells us this time and not to say something that he warned us or that wasn't an official 'fix' and now we're screwed.

That looks like a possibility, and worth trying, however, no offence to you, I want to hear it from Tommy himself approving that method, and if that fails, that they will let us know what the next step is.

You can't tell me warranty ends as soon as it's shipped out.

it turns out that the firmware from the weekend was for the 2+16gb version and won't brick your units. So I am not sure if some people did a step or two wrong. Some people are not being patient enough. We will find a solution for everyone but please be patient!

You guys can try @Bosaad's method is all the other things don't work.

Someone who was here with us before opened his unit virtually damaging it.

DO NOT open your unit. You do so at your own risk. We are seeing if we can get a video tutorial or instructions on how to do it safely. We still haven't confirmed so please wait for more information.
