    I had updated the Android
Auto to a newer APK via APK mirror and now all it does is load a gray wallpaper with circular steps. I thought that would fix the issue with AA starting and closing but now I don’t know what to do.

Until they release the how-to’s on the firmware and all that jazz, you should just be able to use Mirroid and uninstall the update that way.

    Hi @Ztensa,

Can you tell me how you do it please? I’ve enter to apps but the only options I seee are “Disable” and “Force Stop”. Nothing about uninstalling updates.

Hi, it’s been a while but try to hit disable, it may uninstall AA and return it back to factory.

When you get it to work, go into play store and disable auto update to prevent future issues.

To get a factory reset you need:
    1) use your PC connectec with MIRROID APP
    2) download the app called CS Android Settings. Thanks to @chrisstavrou.
Follow indication in this post https://cardongle.co/forums/topic/android-settings-application/#post-2231

Once CS ANDROID SETTING is installed you can access to the whole system settings, including “factory reset”
    Factory reset is present in:
    System
    Advanced
    Reset option
    Cancel all data (Factory reset)
    Ciao
